Similar in their hate to the Jinoo, Guardians are monsters that have come to Earth from Hell. Unlike the Jinoo, however, Guardians are far more ruthless, and are former protectors of the gates of Hell. Ford Sangerye describes Guardians as literal devils that have abandoned their post at the gates and come to Earth disguised as humans.
